A Little About Us...
After a childhood of exhibiting and breeding livestock in 4-H, I began showing and breeding Labrador retrievers as a teenager in 2003. It wasn't long after that I developed a love for the Beagle proceeding a two-year course of breed-specific study and observation. Since then, I have bred several AKC Champions, National, and Best of Breed winners; among them, a Top Ten, Specialty Variety Winning, National Awarded Beagle bitch. The efforts of my breeding program can already be seen in many countries, including the United States, Canada, Venezuela, Ecuador, China, and the Philippines.
I breed beagles first and foremost for the betterment of the breed; focusing on conformation, health, and temperament both as a show dog and companion. My beagles are bred to adhere to the written standard published by the American Kennel Club. Stock from only the best lines is incorporated into my breeding program through careful thought and selection, which results in about 1-3 litters per year. The puppies I do not keep for myself are sold to families who pass a questionnaire evaluation. Visit our "Puppies" page for more information to view our current puppy information.
I owe much of my early success to the long-time breeders behind my dogs, Jon Woodring and Wade Burns of Lanbur Beagles, Julie Wright of Just-Wright Beagles, and Julie Cheng of Auburn Beagles, of which I obtained my first stock from (See Marti and Maize). Their continuous efforts to improve the breed in multiple aspects is recognized in the quality of dogs they produce. My gratitude also goes out to those who so generously allowed me to breed to their wonderful stud dogs and those who have helped mentor me since the beginning.
